A Dream Come True again...................

It was in 2011, that we got the honor to meet and spend time with Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. It was an incredible day. Never did I think that we would meet up again, and it would be another amazing day. Garth is on his World Tour and last weekend, he came to Detroit. He also invited us to sound check and a couple  (not just one) concerts that same night. Ben and Shelby, Mrs. Campbell (LuAnn), Jimmy, and myself went. When we arrived, Garth came down the hall holding a meatball sub, from Subway that he got just for Jimmy. :) He knew from their conversations that Jimmy loves meatball subs. Then we went and sat down and ate with Garth, and got caught up with each other. After that, we went in to watch Garth and his band do sound check. Jimmy handed him a gift that he brought for Garth and Trisha (two Michigan hats and a bag of Sour Patch kids). He also gave him a thank you card that he had written to both of them. And then.......... Garth got Jimmy up on stage, to sing Thunder Rolls with him. OMG! :)

Getting his mike on.

THUNDER ROLLS!

Next, we headed over to Trisha's dressing room (which was really the Red Wings locker room) which had been made comfortable for Trisha. We sat and visited with her before the show.

After visiting with them for a while, we went down the hall and Garth had a surprise for Jimmy. He was going to have Jimmy come out on stage during the concert and shoot a confetti gun. No lie. But first, Jimmy needed to get suited up like the rest of the crew. :)

Would not let go of the Cheetos that Garth got him. LOL

Getting ready!
When the time came, they got Jimmy from his seat and took him backstage with the rest of the crew. I have video of this but, no pics. :( Anyway, it was awesome! Garth was singing Friends in Low Places while Jimmy was onstage. :)

After the show we visited and got something to eat, before going in to watch the second show. And it was amazing!

Thank you Garth and Trisha! You guys are the best!
