Happy Birthday Liam!

How in the world are you 15 years old??? It seems like yesterday that I was carrying this little 29 lb. 7 year old little guy out of an institution. That was one of the best days of my life! There has been a lot of joyous moments, challenging times, new diagnosis's, surgeries, and therapies. The list will continue to grow, just as my love will everyday. For a child that was an orphan through no fault of his own, you have survived, you have found giggles in the little things, and joy just being around us. You are loved by so many. You are precious and you are worth it. Happy Birthday my sweet son! Love a Mama who is so very honored to call you mine.

Happy 33rd Birthday to Jimmy! I can't believe you are in your 30's already. You are the one who made me a Mommy. I still remember your first birthday. and it seems like a lifetime ago. I love you so much! You are my heart!

Happy Birthday Caleb!

Seventeen! Where has the time gone? I am so proud of the young man Caleb has become. He is so sweet, kind and polite to everyone. He still has a little mischievous side, but that's what makes him Caleb! I love this kid more and more every day! Happy Birthday my precious son! I am so thankful for YOU!

And I have to brag a bit too.

Taking his pain away and making it my own

"Taking his pain away and making it my own." That's exactly what you do, when you make the heartbreaking choice, to have your beloved pet, who is suffering from advanced cancer, put to sleep. Our sweet boy, Milo, crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. We are heartbroken, but hopeful that he's running around like a puppy now, cancer free. He was the sweetest dog, who had gone through so much before he came to us last year, only to end up 4 months later, being diagnosed with cancer. We had it removed once, but was told that it was an aggressive type, and would come back. We were blessed with 10 more months, before we had to say goodbye. We miss you, sweet boy, and pray we will see you again. ❤️

Back to school

School started this year in August. I have mixed feelings about that, but my boys seemed okay with it. They thrive on structure, and routine, and we have a lot of that at home, but it is not like school. They enjoy school, being with their friends, and fire drills. lol

Happy 13th Birthday, Elijah!

Well, my baby turned 13 yesterday. 

Now, I have three teenagers and one "grumpy old man", as Jimmy likes to call himself. LOL

He picked Peppa Pig this year, which is usually Caleb's thing, but I thought it was pretty cute, he chose her. His absolute favorite thing to watch is Nick Jr., so he always picks one of those characters.

Cornhole has quickly became one of his favorite games!

He sure is a handsome young man! 

But, he is growing up too fast, for Mama.
