Breakfast of Champions

Caleb and Elijah asked for 7 Layer Dip for breakfast this morning. :) Look how close their chairs are. They always move their chairs together like this when eating meals. I love the special relationship they share!

Jimmy, just because.....

He's so cool!

The Waterpark

We went to the waterpark again yesterday. The boys had a blast! Liam is just a little fish! He goes under the water, kicks his feet and acts like he has been swimming his whole life. Caleb loves the big wavesin the wave pool! Jimmy loves the slides! And I love watching them have so much fun. But remember how I mentioned how timid Elijah was of the water? Well, yesterday he surprised us all by insisting to go on the BIG waterslide. And he did! All by himself! He loved it! I was so proud of him:):)

Enjoying summer and some throwing too:)

My littles absolutely LOVE to be outside. Liam's favorite thing to do is play in the pool. Elijah loves to play in the sandbox. And Caleb loves to do both those things, plus throw anything he can find.

He has broken a couple of garage windows by throwing toys at them.:( But I finally thought of something that he can throw and not break anything. A beachball. He loves it. He can throw it at the house, on the roof, in the pool, even at the windows and guess what? They don't break! Caleb told me one day with a big smile, "Mommy, throwing is fun!" It made me stop and realize that his throwing which drives me crazy, gives him a sense of joy. He is not doing it to make me upset. He honestly gets enjoyment from it. It makes him happy. And that makes me happy!

Happy Boy!

Mikey, our favorite Golden!

And where is Jimmy while we are outside? He's on his way out to have pizza with friends! You Rock Dude!

Just a few weeks more......

Caleb just loves school! He would go 7 days a week if he could. So, in the summer I put him into Hornet Camp. It is a day program (that I mentioned in an earlier post) that runs through the summer for children with special needs. He loves it! He gets to swim every morning and goes on several community outings each week in addition to crafts, playing with friends.....

Well, camp ends next Thursday. YIKES! That still leaves almost three weeks of summer before school starts. And I've told him about this, and he's already asking for school to start. The thing is, Caleb is very social and loves to be around people and doing things all the time. I do my best to keep him involved and doing something every day. If I don't, then he's bouncing off the walls.

So anyway, I am trying to get a little schedule together for Caleb to cover those few weeks. Things to do such as the zoo, parks, DQ, waterpark, roasting marshmallows, out to lunch, and then some fun activities to do at home, Then we can go over it and he will have something to look forward to each day. I'll let you know how it goes.:)
