Everyone is Welcome

I just love this! Every night after Caleb and Elijah go to bed, Jimmy rearranges their Fisher Price nativity and puts everyone in their place. Note, that everyone is welcome to see Jesus, even Bullseye!

And yes, we are aware that Joseph is MIA. Jimmy has one of the kings filling in until he is found.:)

USCIS approved!

It won't be long now. My dossier will be apostilled next week and on it's way to my placing agency. I want to thank the person that donated to our FSP today. As I have said many times before, I could not bring this child home without the help from all of you. We still need $8,576 to bring our son home. So if all of you could help by spreading the word about our adoption, I would be so grateful. And believe me, no donation is too small!

Here's a picture of our little guy. I know you have seen it several times before, but it's the only one I have. The truth is, no one cares enough about him to take his picture. This picture is over a year old. How sad! Well, things will change when he comes home, because this Mama LOVES to take pictures and I will be taking tons of my sweet little Liam.

Thank you for your prayers and support for our family as we bring another precious child home. God Bless!

today, beautiful Kristen went to live with Jesus. She lost her battle with Leukemia. Kristen touched the hearts of many, including many of us that didn't get the chance to meet her. She changed the world with her beautiful smile.....and I can say that because of Kristen, my life has changed also. I learned that you can love, care, cry and hurt for a person that you have never met. I also learned that cancer doesn't care and can and will strike the most innocent. I've learned that we need to do everything we can to help find a cure for cancer, and until that day comes, we need to help those fighting it. One way that you can help and possibly be a part of saving someones life, is to join the Bone Marrow registry.

Thousands of patients hope for a bone marrow donor who can make their life-saving transplant possible. They depend on people like you. You have the power to save a life. Take the first step today.

Happy 5th Birthday Elijah!

Today, my baby boy turns 5 years old! I can hardly believe my little munchkin is already 5. He was really shy when I brought him home but he has really come out of his shell, especially this year. He is beginning to say more and more words. Caleb can talk your ear off and Elijah tries to say everything Caleb does. Elijah runs, and jumps and climbs everywhere! Elijah continues to LOVE books and also Blue's Clues and Dora! He knows almost all of his letters and can write the capital E all by himself! And he is such a Mommy's helper and he is very independent. He wants to do everything himself.:) I can't say enough about my little man.

Elijah is such a precious gift! This is the beautiful first photo that I ever saw of Elijah. I instantly fell in love.....

And here he is now, 5 years old already!Heading out to the lake to celebrate with friends!

Jammin with his new guitar!

Caleb REALLY wanted to blow out the candle too. They like to do that on each other's birthdays.:)

Happy 5th Birthday peanut! You are the light of my life and the smile in my heart! I love you, my little boy....:)

Happy 4th of July

My camera died right before the fireworks started tonight, but I did get a few pictures of us before they began. We left a couple hours early and met up with friends so we had a lot of fun tonight!
Hope everyone has an awesome 4th of July!
Love,

The Lucas family
