Buddy Walk 2010

We had a great time once again at the Buddy Walk. It was a lot of fun to see so many families with children with Down syndrome all together. Approximately 800 people attended this year! Everyone was smiling, dancing and enjoying the day. The boys enjoyed the entertainment the most. Eliah wasn't too sure of what to think of all the people and the noise so he kept close to Mommy.:) He really loved watching the ducks in the water while we were on our walk. Jimmy helped me pass out RR fliers. He did a very good job! Thank you again to everyone who donated to our Buddy Walk.:) It was awesome!

Funny Guy

Elijah has to wear a patch over his eye a few hours a day. Some days he keeps it on just fine, and other days he takes it off more than once. The other day he took it off while eating and I told him to put it back on (which I knew he couldn't do, but I asked him to anyway) and this is what he did. What a Funny Guy!! Please excuse the oatmeal covered face.:)
He always cracks up when I call him a Funny Guy!

Among the many characters that Jimmy loves, one of his favorites is Popeye.
And yes, Jimmy has his pajamas on. As a matter of fact, he puts them on as soon as he gets home from school everyday.:) Enjoy!

Fun at Brandon's house

Yesterday we spent the day with Jimmy's friend Brandon and his family. His Mom Denise, and I are good friends and we love to get together with the boys. Jimmy calls Brandon BT (his initials). He always says "BT loves Toby Keith!". They have been friends since middle school and are now in the Young Adult Program together. Jimmy is 23 and Brandon is almost 22. These two get along great and are always being silly. We will be walking with them at our Buddy Walk so I am hoping to get some more pics to share then.

Of course, Caleb spent the entire time in the pool. Jumping in mostly! Elijah was busy running around and exploring, he wasn't too keen on the pool today.
