June 2020

Well, it's been over a month and most of our state has opened up again. The Covid-19 virus is not gone, but most people are staying six feet away from each other and wearing masks. And some aren't, and so my boys and I, are not going out. Well, we are going outside and we go out for grocery pick up, to get ice cream and such. But, we are not going to the movies, restaurants or stores. It's not worth the risk. They are doing their summer programs remotely, and who knows what will happen this Fall. I do know, that I will be teaching them from home, at least until next year. Sending them to school where they can be exposed to this virus, is not a wise choice for my boys. I'm actually looking forward to homeschooling for a little while, since I am a special education teacher, and I do miss teaching. How blessed I am,to be able to stay home with my boys and to keep them safe. There are others that are not able to do so. I would be panicky to be honest, if I had no choice, but to send them to school and I had to go to work, during a global pandemic. So here are some pictures from the last month. We have been having a good time, and making the best of the situation at hand. :)

Day 41 of Covid 19 (Stay at Home)

We're still here. The days go by with the boys doing Zoom sessions with their classes online, and then some online work with me. We are trying to stay busy baking, watching movies, doing puzzles and playing games, and going outside, when the weather permits. So far, Michigan's Spring has really sucked. It's snowed a few times. :( But with May, just next week, it has to start warming up soon! Our governor has extended the Stay-At-Home order until May 15. For us, it will be much longer. I can't take any chances taking my boys out into public places, while this virus lingers. Here is the data from yesterday concerning the virus, here in Michigan.

Coloring eggs

We colored eggs today.
I only took a couple pics, but I love this one of Jimmy. He has the most beautiful blue eyes, I have ever seen.

Day 15 Covid-19

We are actually doing okay. The boys are staying busy and I have been able to get all of our groceries and prescriptions delivered. We are a little bored and I have been baking more than usual, but we can't complain. We are all healthy and safe at home. Our teachers have been amazing keeping the kids connected with activities and an online Zoom get together. Here is Caleb, yesterday "hanging out" with his teachers and friends.

And here is where Michigan stands as of today.
Our numbers are multiplying like wild fire.
Dear Jesus, please help us overcome this virus soon!
