Gingerbread Houses

Today we made gingerbread houses (something I had never done with the boys before) and we had a lot of fun. We will definitely be making these again, next year. Liam, however, wanted to chuck his onto the floor (luckily I caught it). But that aside, a very good time was had by all!

Thanksgiving

We had a very special Thanksgiving this year with my son Ben and his beautiful, new wife Shelby. They also brought a friend who could not be home for Thanksgiving. Oh, and lest we forget Kane, aka Kandy Kane. (their puppy):) The food tasted good, and we shared lots of laughs. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. :( I had planned on it but we were so busy visiting with each other, and being entertained by all three dogs, that it slipped my mind. :( We will be seeing them over Christmas break though, and I will definitely take pictures!
Meanwhile, here is Elijah holding the adorable turkey that he made at school. And Jimmy, with his new turkey hat, which is ridiculously hilarious. It plays music and the legs move to the music. LOL

This was a project that Elijah's class was doing. You are supposed to make a disguise for the turkey to wear, so he can't be recognized, and eaten. LOL Parents were to work with their kids. Elijah didn't want to do it, but, I on the other hand was very happy to do it!

Happy Birthday Jimmy

And just like that, he's 28. How did that happen? The years go by so quickly.
Jimmy chose Duck Dynasty for his birthday theme and Buffalo Wild Wings for his birthday dinner. We had a great day celebrating my first born son. I love you Jimmy, you are my heart and my inspiration.

He doesn't drink it, he just likes to order it. ;)

I love these two so much.

And the girls sang to him and made his day!

We then, came home for cake and ice cream.

Happy Halloween.......

Well, for everyone except Liam , that is. The weather was awful. We had wind, rain, temps in the 30's, and then if that wasn't bad enough, it started to snow. Liam doesn't like all of those factors combined (me either), so he cried the entire time we were trick or treating. :(  His three brothers were happy, although Elijah was ready to go home soon after we started too. He didn't cry however and was quite happy trick or treating, even if the weather was annoying. Here are a few pictures before we left.
