And because adoption will always be in my heart, we adopted Kolya, a rescue pup. He's a Bullboxer (Pitbull and Boxer) and he was in a shelter that would not adopt out Pitbulls or Pit mixes. His only hope was a rescue group, that was doing a meet and greet at the shelter on Saturday. If he wasn't adopted through the rescue, he would have been euthanized eventually. But Kolya and six other pups that day, were lucky, and families came for them. The others still wait and hope for a family before it's too late. I may be done adopting children, but I'm not done adopting. And so now, we have Kolya. He is funny and cute and lives to eat. :)
