Spring Break

We had a pretty nice spring break even though we didn't go on vacation or something like that. Actually, when Caleb was asked what he wanted to do most, he said that he wanted to wash the van at the car wash. 😁 We went to the movies and saw Boss Baby, which was actually pretty cute! We went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse. The boys were awesome. Liam didn't throw a thing orshove anything off the table. He ate two servings of applesauce all by himself. This is big for him! The food was delicious, the boys were awesome! We had a nice waitress, so it was a win! I took the boys to the Rec Center to swim. My goal was not to get in the water. I did not achieve my goal. LOL But, the water was warm and the boys had a blast, and Liam didn't close down the pool. Another win! We're on a roll! During the week, Caleb and Elijah had a couple sleepovers. They like to sleep in the living room. We always have popcorn and a movie before lights go out, so it's fun for all. We had a really nice day on Sunday, so we went to mill Pond to play and throw rocks in the water. While we were there, a snake (Ribbon snake) decided to swim by, and then slither out of the water and visit us. A little freaky, as that has never happened before, but it was all okay, and we moved to another area. LOL 🐍🐍

Hearing Aids

Well, Caleb has a mild hearing loss. That means hearing aids. Which would be a little sad, I guess to most....but not to Caleb. His girlfriend, Maria, wears hearing aids. So when he got the news, he was really excited. He even counted the days down, in anticipation of finally getting them. He's had them for four days so far, and is really doing great. I think he looks adorable. but I'm also very proud of him. He's matured a lot in the last year.💗💗

All Three

I just went in and helped Caleb put his cpap mask back on. As I was in there, I looked over at Liam and Elijah both asleep in their beds. I still can't believe I did this. I actually did this. I brought all three of these precious boys home. All three, born in different parts of Russia. All three, had been abandoned by their biological parents. All three, would have spent their entire lives in an institution, subject to abuse, neglect, hunger, sickness. And there, they would have died, alone without anyone who cared, or even known they existed. I am so grateful, that they are here with me, their Mama... that loves them more than life. They could have been left in a cold institution, but now they are asleep in their warm beds, in their home. Once alone, but now, all brothers, a part of a family, my family. I am blessed to be their Mama. 

Lunch with Friends

Garth and Trisha stopped in Detroit, on the way to Canada, to have lunch with Jimmy. Yes, you read that right. A beautiful friendship, that makes me so happy. Jimmy's face lights up when he sees them. He doesn't understand fame or fortune, he just knows that they are his friends. And, he's beyond happy to have lunch with them and enjoy a few laughs. And that's just what they did. I came along for the ride. LOL and to take pictures. ;)

The Loves of my Life

I use to be a romantic and believed that there would one day be someone that I would call the love of my life. Well, I don't think that it is true for everyone to have that love of their life be a boyfriend or a spouse. I believe that there is truly a love t everyone's life, if you choose to have one, or many. Mine happens to be my children. They are truly the absolute loves of my life.
