Special Friends Homecoming

This afternoon Jimmy attended a Special Friends Homecoming Dance that was put on by Washtenaw Christian Academy, here in our community. They wanted to share it with all of Saline's special needs HS students and young adults. It was decorated so beautiful (the pictures do not show how beautiful it really was) to the theme of "Narnia". The students and staff of Saline Christian Academy were so gracious and welcoming to our students. It was truly a day to remember. Jimmy and his friends had a blast. They had a DJ, dancing, games, a photo booth, a dinner, ice cream sundae bar, and more. This was the first year for this beautiful event and they said they will be making it annual event from now on.:)

Jimmy and the Knight. Jimmy calls it a "KaNight". He knows how to pronounce knight but he chooses to call them KaNights anyway. He cracks me up!

    Looks like he had great fun. He's so social. I think it's awesome that he's got such a good group of friends.

    That looked fantastic, Jimmy looks like he had a great time. I'm glad they will be having more of these dances, it'll be something for Jimmy to look forward to. Tell Jimmy I liked his dancing.

    And Brandon- Wow! He sure knows how to dress for the ladies!!
