We had a gorgeous Fall day in Michigan and what better way to spend it than riding ponies and picking out pumpkins?!
Hello there!
This horse really had a sense of humor! Say cheese:)
Elijah did not want to ride a pony but he did love sitting on the tractor:)
Lookin' Good Jimmy!
My little Russian tornadoes....
Hey Jimmy!
Caleb picked this wee little pumpkin:)
Elijah was tickled with the little bit bigger wee pumpkin that he picked out.:)
And here's Jimmy with his perfect pumpkin!
Happy Fall everyone!

Happy Birthday Caleb!
Caleb is 9 years old! He was so excited and was so happy that it was his birthday. One of his favorite things is Firetrucks so that's what the theme of his birthday was. We had pizza, cake and ice cream and then had a Firetruck pinata and Silly String. Caleb has never done a pinata before so it was quite funny to see his reaction when we gave him a bat and said he could go hit that truck that was hanging from the tree. He loved it and to tell you the truth could have cared less about the candy. I don't think he even picked up a piece that fell. But he did enjoy the Silly String. He loves to spray things! I have to keep all of my spray cleaners....up high and out of reach. So imagine how tickled he was when he got to spray a couple cans of Silly String!:) I am so proud to be Caleb's Mama. This child of mine makes my heart smile. He wakes up in such a good mood and always wants a hug first thing in the morning!
Caleb stole my heart the very first time that I saw him. Such beautiful bright eyes and a laugh that would tug at anyone's heart. Because of Caleb, my eyes have been opened to the fact that there are 147 million orphans living in our world today. Praise God that Caleb is with me and no longer an orphan. His life is such a gift and I am so thankful he's mine. Happy Birthday Caleb! Mommy loves you to the moon and back, and more!

Thanks Jimmy!
Caleb's birthday is Friday and I'm telling you what.....he hasn't let us forget that either! He is super excited, to put it mildly. After waiting all year and celebrating everyone else's birthday, Caleb tells us, "It's Caleb's turn!" and "Caleb's birthday is next!" And thanks to Jimmy, we got to celebrate a few days early. Jimmy went shopping and you know what that means........Cupcakes for Caleb!:) Thanks Jimmy!
Caleb also opened a birthday card today from his great Aunt Sandy today, and when he saw the dollar, he yelled, "The tooth fairy!" :)
Stay tuned for the big day!

Beautiful weekend
This weekend we had perfect weather. We spent the majority of it outside too. Who can beat 80 degrees and sunny in October? With the leaves falling all around, Caleb splashed in his pool. It was fun to watch. Yep, Caleb had me haul out his pool that I had just put away for the winter. Mikey enjoyed the pool himself.:) Elijah went right to work raking the leaves. I'm wondering if he'll shovel snow too? LOL! Happy October!

"In God's eyes we're all the same"
Jimmy and Caleb attend the Friendship Ministry here in Saline. I can't say enough about this program and the people that provide it. It's an interdenominational night of worship, Bible Study, and Fellowship for students and young adults with special needs. It is held every other Tuesday, and let's just say Jimmy and Caleb get very excited to go! The 90 minute program offers a unified time of learning. Worship time includes song, rainbow bells, puppets, interactive discussion, and multi-visual support. The students experience Bible Study in small groups along with a craft to create and take home. At the end of the evening, they enjoy refreshments and visit with each other before going home. They also can sing Karaoke each night. It's a blast! The best thing is there are Friendship Ministries all over the US!

Missing my Liam
Somewhere Out There
Somewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me
And loving me tonight
Somewhere out there
Somone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another
In that big somewhere out there
And even though I know
how very far apart we are
It helps to think
we might be wishing
on the same bright star
And when the night wind
starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think
we're sleeping underneath
the same big sky
Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we'll be together
Somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
And even though I know
how very far apart we are
It helps to think
we might be wishing
on the same bright star
And when the night wind
starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think
we're sleeping underneath
the same big sky
Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we'll be together
