Today I took Jimmy and Caleb to a really nice, peaceful park in a town nearby. As I was sitting there watching the boys throw rocks in the water, I looked up to the sky and saw the birds flying overhead. I heard the wind gently blowing through the trees and I listened and saw the water flowing over the rocks. I realized that this is it. This is what is important in life. Taking time to notice all of God's beauty around us. I felt so close to God as if he were sitting there right next to me. In fact, I know he was. Listening to the excitement in the boys voices as their rocks dropped into the water, made me want to shout out to God in praise. I am truly blessed. I may not know what is in store for my future but I do know that God is always with me.:)
But happy are those...
whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Weekend
Caleb loves to play with balls. He likes to play basketball but even more, he likes to throw the ball onto the garage roof and watch it come down. He likes to watch me throw it up there even more.....but it gets kinda boring after a while, so we have been using it as a reward-going out and throwing the ball on the roof. I used to reward Caleb by letting him open and close the garage door with the remote (he loves it!) when he used the bathroom on the toilet. Once he got better though, my garage door was going up and down several times a day. My neighbor would laugh everytime she saw it because she knew Caleb had just used the bathroom.:) He still gets to open it whenever we go somewhere.:) He also got his haircut this weekend and looks extra cute!!

My Little Man
I took this picture yesterday. Oh, how I love my little man! Caleb is definitely a ray of sunshine in my day:) He wakes up with a smile on his face and asking for apple juice every morning. If I took the picture today though, he would be missing something....a tooth! He lost his second tooth this morning.:)

Starting Over
In the last couple of weeks while I have mourned the loss of Roma, I have also been praying about where to go with my adoption plans. I am still adopting, there was never a question about that. I know I have a son waiting. A little hidden angel that needs a family.....Our family.
So, I wanted to give you a quick update to let you know that I have begun the paperwork to adopt from Russia. There are forms to fill out to change my USCIS approval from Ukraine to Russia and my homestudy needs to be changed a little also. I am hopeful that this can be completed in the next couple months.
Thank you all for your prayers and once again, please continue to pray for Roma because he is still waiting for a family.

Thankful
I have a lot to be thankful for this week. I have had friends and family reach out to us to help with the loss of Roma. I have to say they are the best! They have prayed, emailed, called, and stopped over. It has been so nice to have them close during this difficult time. I want to thank everyone again for your special prayers for Jimmy. He is beginning to feel better. I also have the greatest kids, their smiles, jokes, hugs, and kisses have reminded me how truly blessed I am.
I have prayed and God has given me strength, he has given me hope, and he has given me a lot of joy this week.
Please keep Roma in your prayers. My sweet little Roma needs a family soon. I wish he could be in ours but since he can't, I pray for him to find a family to give him all the love he deserves.
A scripture I have turned to this week is:
Nothing will be impossible with GOD.
Luke 1:37 HCSB
I am hoping to share some good news with everyone soon!
And now some pictures of my favorite faces..........
