Our weekend

On Friday, we added a new member to our family. This is Henry and he is 4 months old. He has quickly learned that with a little squeal he will get picked up and also receive a carrot.:)

Hey Jimmy!:)

A pic of Elijah getting his breathing treatment. He's such a big boy. I just love his little mask.:)

My Dad came over and visited with us on Sunday. We had a very nice visit and Caleb spent a lot of time on Papa's lap.

We concluded our Sunday with Caleb and his pal George saying their bedtime prayers. We continue to pray for dear sweet Kristen (whose button is at the top right side of my blog). Kristen is battling leukemia for the fourth time (yes, I said fourth). We pray that she will become healthy and free of it once and for all. Please click on her button and visit her blog. Please pray for her too, won't you? We have also been praying several times a day, for Chrissie who has been fighting for her life for the last week. She was born with a severe heart defect that should have taken her life at just a couple days old, but Chrissie has lived four years so far. After being adopted six months ago by a wonderful and faithful family, Chrissie had heart surgery last Monday. Chrissie is very sick and in need of our prayers. God has brought Chrissie back after dying twice during the last week. Please pray for this precious little princess. You can also visit her blog by clicking on her button (right under Kristen's button). God Bless you and have a wonderful week!

  1. Sounds like you had a great weekend. Henry sounds like a great pet for the boys. I don't think I've seen a guinea pig that loves the attention quite like that. Glad Caleb is a grandpa's boy. My Tye is too. And I think you look a little like your dad. :)

  2. Always so much fun to see pictures of my "nephews"!!

My very first pet (other than the family dog) was a guinea pig named Tammy! Tammy was a lot of fun. Our dog learned her name and after that for the rest of her life, she thought all of our little critters were called "Tammies"! (i.e. "Nickie, where's the Tammy? Where'd the Tammy go?" and she'd tear off to my room and excitedly sit and watch the "Tammy", whether it was a hamster, bird or whatever) What is your golden retriever doing with Henry??

    Have fun!!

  3. I am glad your dad had time to stop bye for a visit, I'm sure the boys miss him when he's back home.
A guinea pig? Man I could never handle those when Ken had those and hamsters. I didn't realize Elija needed breathing treatments, does he have asthema? Have a great birthday today. Love you all, Aunt Sandy

  4. Poor Kristen, but to trimph so many times means there's a fighter in there. Henry is adorable as are those boys....but aren't they always.
