I love the way Jimmy writes notes to himself and also for us. I also love his drawings!
This is a package of Oreos that a friend of Jimmy's bought for him. After we had ate some, Jimmy put them into a ziploc bag and then began writing on it. I thought he was putting his name on them so nobody would eat his cookies. LOL! But to my surprise, he put Ben's name on the package so Ben would know that Jimmy was giving them to him.:)How sweet! It shouldn't have surprised me really, Jimmy has always been very generous.
This is a note that Jimmy wrote to himself and taped to the door. It is a reminder for him to take in the trash cans. He doesn't need a reminder, he is very responsible. But ever since I put a note on the door reminding Ben to take the trash to the curb, Jimmy has been writing a note for himself to bring in the trash cans.:)
This is a Happy Birthday note that Jimmy wrote and gave to me the day before my birthday. He couldn't wait!:)
This picture is one of my favorites. Jimmy gets crushes once in a while and a few months ago, he had a crush on one of the aides in his classroom. She is engaged but Jimmy didn't care. He said he was going to marry her, and this is a drawing that he made of their wedding. Notice the veil on the bride's head and also the tuxedo on the groom! The bride also is holding a bouquet of flowers.:) I just adore Jimmy's drawings. This one has been hanging in our kitchen for a few months since the day he brought it home. I love it!

This and That
No, I don't typically let my children play on top of our kitchen table.....but this seems to be their favorite spot lately to blow bubbles. I did make them get down both times, but not before I took their picture. We're building memories and I want to remember it all.:)
We are still patching Elijah's eye. The pediatric opthamologist says the patching is working but she wants to continue it for a couple more months and then check back with Elijah in July.
Caleb is learning to be gentle with the guinea pigs. This isn't Henry, it's S'More. She is bigger and softer and her nails aren't as sharp, so Caleb prefers to hold her.:)
Yep, he's sleeping!
This is what happens when you leave your coffee unattended at our house, even for a minute. Those happen to be pretzels!:)

Dear Natalya and Inna
To the birth mothers of my youngest sons Caleb and Elijah,
I want you to know that they are loved, really cherished! I want you to know that they are cute and funny and laugh a lot. I want you to know that they go to school and they love to ride the school bus. They have lots of friends. And they are smart. Caleb is learning to read and he loves to swim! Elijah is learning the letters in his name and he loves to look at books. They both love to dance and listen to music. They love to go for wagon rides and play outside. They love, love, love bubble baths!
Caleb loves pizza, chicken nuggets and fries, and ice cream. Elijah loves ham, cheese, and cookies.:)
They are also little stinkers, who love to throw things especially socks. Caleb likes to throw things over the fence into our neighbors yard and up onto our roof.:) Elijah likes to take spoons out of the dishwasher and run away laughing with me chasing after him!:)
They love each other and have fun together. They also have two older brothers Jimmy and Ben, who love them very much! They have family and friends that adore them. They are happy and they are loved. So very loved!
I want you to know that I love them with all my heart and soul. There is not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for them and for the joy that they bring to me. I love their smiles, their giggles, their hugs. They are precious gifts!
On this Mother's Day, I want to thank you for giving my children life. I am blessed to have them as my sons. And I pray that God will give you peace and happiness.

Rain, rain, go away!
We have had some beautiful days the last couple of weeks, but it seems that when the weekend comes, we get hit with rain, clouds and lots of wind! This weekend was no different, except for this afternoon. We had a lot of storm clouds moving over us but we got lucky and were able to spend a few hours outside. It was still pretty wet and muddy so we stayed on the deck but the boys had a lot of fun just being outside. Caleb and Elijah are both throwers and so when they throw something in the house, I remind them that they can only throw outside. I should have known that those words would come back to bite me. We were outside only a few minutes today when I noticed Caleb's shoes were off. I found one in my plants and couldn't find the other one. I asked Caleb where it was and he pointed up. Yep, on the roof!!:) Boys, Gotta Love 'Em!!
