I don't usually comment, but that brought tears to my eyes. I can't wait until my little guy is old enough to compete. When we adopted him, one of the first things my mom said to me was, 'Now we have our own athlete to cheer for when we volunteer.'
Oh, how I love the Special Olympics I use to organize and work it every year. Getting out there and cheering my kids on was one of the greatest joys. Just to see all the effort they put in was so much fun. The part I loved the most was the smiles. I need to find the time to do this again. Jimmy is a champion!
